We are so excited to announce that the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver is joining our Special Event Partners in offering their Executive Chef to the Newfoundland Kitchen Party fundraiser for this one night only!

"The Vancouver Island Symphony is tremendously pleased to announce that Dana Hauser, originally from Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, one of Canada's top Chef's, will be attending this great fundraising party to prepare a selection of traditional Newfoundland dishes for our guests to sample. Guests will also have any opportunity to mix and mingle with Dana throughout the evening."

In addition to the Fairmont Waterfront's generousity, our auction is gathering some fantastic collectibles. WE are VERY fortunate this year. On the block will be a Bruce Springsteen hand autographed electric guitar, a framed 11 X 14 autographed photo of Wayne Gretsky, a 3 night trip to New Orleans with cooking classes and no black out dates. You can fly with any number of airlines.

Upcoming concert:Wave, Saturday March 17, 2012 Join us for Vancouver Island Symphony's next performance featuring guest violinist, Martin Charlifour, principal concertmaster with the Los Angelese Philharmonic. He will perform Mozart's Violin Concerto No.4. To complete this elegant evening, the orchestra presents Handel's splendorous Water Music which was premiered on a barge on the River Thames in 1717.
